We are a non-denominational, multi-ethnic Church with a passion to raise up disciples of Christ, people who are changed and defined by the gospel to live radically for God's glory in our world.

Emmitt started the church in May 1990 and says that they now have more than 27,000 people attending CBC's campus in San Antonio and its online church, which reaches more than 150 countries.

Founded in 1958 as a local church plant on Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio, Texas, we began gathering as a Body of Christ with disciple making in our DNA. Pastored by Lead Minister Travis Eades and Teaching Minister Max Lucado, we have grown into a dynamic, non-denominational congregation.

Oak Hills Church began as a small suburban congregation on San Antonio's northwest side. The church has significantly grown to attendance numbers now of about 5,000 worshipers. Ultimately, Oak Hills has a goal to reach 10,000 worshipers.

Megachurches are extraordinarily or abnormally large congregations, mainly belonging to the conservative evangelical or Pentecostal/charismatic streams of Christianity. Historically associated with North America, there are now megachurches in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
